So Alexa Riley is quickly winning me over with their erotic cuteness. Their writing is easy to get fully absorbed into the story, I even don't mind the first person POV. Grayslake, a town full of shifters always piques my interest. The series is More Than Mated, I need to find more!! I must find more!
So Bleu is adorable, he's a big bear of a man and that's no exaggeration he is a bear shifter. Bleu lives his life in a secluded cabin on the outskirts of town. He's a carpenter and a fantastic woodworker. Lola heard a rumor about a town full of shifters and when her deadbeat Mother doesn't pay the mortgage it's the final straw that broke the camel's back. Lola leaves, she gets in her POS of a truck and just leaves. She didn't count on the blizzard or her truck crapping out on her. Her truck lost traction and she slammed into a tree.
Fate brought Bleu and Lola together and if Bleu had been anybody but a shifter he's actions would be kinda creepy. Lola even admits that his growling protectiveness should creep her out but instead it just turned her on. This is a quick and easy read. The story is very succinct and to the point it is also very hot!
