Noooooooooo! Say it ain't so! This is the last one, the final book in the series! NOOOOOOOOOO!
I loved this series and the one before it, Blood Brothers and Sin Brothers. The series has been a rollercoaster ride of emotion and adventure. Denver Jones the last brother who has been pining after the woman he left behind gets a second chance but now she is exposed to the danger of Dr. Madison and Sheriff Cobb. Noni has her own problems to deal with and it getting her kidnapped niece out of the hands of her gang member drug dealing father Noni will do whatever it takes even if it means bring Denver into her life again.
Noni's idea was to plaster picture of Denver and her all over the place looking for him never knowing the trouble she was causing for her just as much as for him. Denver shows up ready to deal with his problems and completely unprepared for hers, but he is who he is and takes it full on telling his brothers to handle Cobb and Madison and he'll handle the missing baby. Being this close to Noni again and having her in this much trouble reminds him of why he left in the first place and also why it was so hard to leave her.
Between the gang and the elite soldiers out to get them it's pretty much non stop action and when it's not action it's an emotional rollercoaster ride with Noni and Denver. I wish there was a bit more sexual tension between the two of them,let it build up some more before they had sex, 'cause that happened fairly soon. You could see the chemistry there between them but I like sexual tension it builds until the sex is wow, not that Noni and Denver needed any help with that they are pretty hot all on their own, I just think the sexual tension could have been better.
With Denver's past their is a big secret that gets revealed, I kinda guessed it so it wasn't that surprising to me but it did add a nice twist. The action is always well written and the sex as always HOT. Overall, WHY DOES IT HAVE TO END?????? I can just picture it now Talia and one of the boys. I mean there are four young brother's, jump into the future a little, hint hint nudge nudge wink wink.
