He hates the corporate world.
She's all business.
Now they have to work together
on the one job that could
make or break them both...

Connor became a flight medic
for one reason, and
one reason only.
To help people.
If he can keep his head down
and his past in the past while he's at it?
Even better.

Until Harlow appears to upend his world
with an offer he can't refuse.

She's calculating. Composed.
Scalpel-sharp.
And she'll stop at nothing to make
her father's business successful.

Even if that means teaming up with Connor
to turn around a failing clinic.

He shouldn't like her.
He definitely shouldn't want her.
But the more they work together
the less he's able to resist.

But Connor's secrets run deep.
Will Harlow's ambition ruin him,
or will she be his salvation?

From USA Today best-seller Kimberly Kincaid comes an enemies-to-lovers story full of emotion and heat. This full-length romance features a muscle-bound veteran flight medic and a smart, tart female CEO finding happily ever after...the hard way.

Previous books in the series (books one and two stand alone, but book 3 contains some series spoilers, so all are best read in order!)

BACK TO YOU (start here!) https://kimberlykincaid.com/back-to-you/

BETTER THAN ME (then here!) https://kimberlykincaid.com/better-than-me/

I've been excited for Connor and Harlow's story and it definitely was worth the wait. They were  combustible the chemistry was spot on, I love them almost as much as Parker and Charlie or Natalie and Jonah. Now I'm all excited for Tess's book (I hope she hooks up with who I think because that would be great). Anyways onto Harlow, all business woman with no time for emotions, and Connor, Air Force medic vet turned best nurse ever. The Remington Memorial board of directors has hired Davenport Industries to fix the mess that is the Marlene Davenport Memorial Clinic finances. The clinic is hemorrhaging money due to the inept director and Harlowe was put in charge to fix it but the board took forever to find a new director. Harlow's father's stipulation is that she co-directs the clinic until they get it back on its feet. The board's pick was Connor who has hundreds of combat medical ops under his belt they feel like he can handle this with no problem.

Connor and Harlow's relationship started off nonexistent, they fought about everything but underlining the disagreements was a strong physical attraction. Ultimately the physical attraction wins out both agreeing that it won't affect work. But the clinic remains in jeopardy and it seems no matter what they do they are destined to fail and at the risk of their relationship hard decisions have to be made.

Overall, this was a great read. I enjoyed it just as much as the other two in the series. I love the whole Remington world, Kincaid writes wonderful characters, hot romances, and emotional stories. As a stand alone or as a series it's a good read.

 ( PG-13):
Christ, her need was pouring off her in waves, each one of them slamming into his chest. Without breaking the connection of their mouths, Harlow reached down, yanking his shirt up just far enough to close her fingers around the waistband of his scrubs.
It took everything he had—and he really meant everything—to capture her fingers with his own and bring them to stillness. “Wait,” he said against her lips.
“No.” She grasped the hem of her sweater, yanking the heavy material up and over her head. The move made her hair wild around her face, but not enough to cover the emotion there.
“Yes.”
Harlow froze, her eyes glinting in the low light. “Connor, I want—”
“I know what you want, sweetheart. But I want something, too.”
Her brows gathered in question, and he cupped her face to answer.
“Let me in, Harlow.” He tipped her chin back, kissing the juncture where her jaw came together by her ear. “If all you want to do tonight is feel, then let me make you feel perfect. Slow down and let me make you feel everything.”

BLOG TOUR & ARC REVIEW Better Than Me by Kimberly Kincaid

Better Than Me (Remington Medical, #2)

"This book was just delicious – friends to lovers, roommate, and a player brought to his knees. I could not get enough of these characters! I love a steamy romance with heart & soul.” -- J.H. Croix, USA Today bestselling author

Better Than Me, an all-new steamy friends to lovers romance from USA Today bestselling author Kimberly Kincaid, is available now!

Remington’s most notoriously single,
notoriously sexy surgeon
is about to fall for the one woman
he can’t have…

Did I mention that she's
A) his best friend
B) immune to his panty-melting charm, and
C) sleeping on his couch for the next six weeks?

But Jonah’s not made for commitment,
and a good man is the one thing Natalie deserves.
Not someone who can only offer up
a couple of sizzling hot, no-strings-attached nights
of pure pleasure.
Unless that’s what she wants.
Because Jonah wants her. And with each
moment they spend working together—
living together—
the harder it is to resist temptation.

And even harder to resist the fall that
might break them both…

A steamy medical contemporary romance from USA Today best-selling author Kimberly Kincaid. Watch this cocky hero fall head over scalpel for his sweet and sexy BFF. Full-length standalone story with action in the emergency room and the bedroom, and a sweet-and-sexy happily ever after.

Remington Medical #2, Jonah and Natalie, well we didn't have long to wait for these two. An emotional journey for both of these wonderful characters. Jonah figuring out just how lovable he is and Natalie finally finding someone who makes sure she doesn't have to go through anything alone anymore.

Natalie is survivor of childhood cancer, she spends most her time doing things for other people making sure everyone around her is happy rarely taking any time for herself. Jonah is the survivor of an indecisive ex-fiance who on top of a childhood trauma makes him think he's not worthy of love. But when a bathtub crashes into Natalie's living room and she decides to crash with Jonah their friendship turns into something more.

Overall, it was a really nice romance. I love the characters and how everything was written. Kincaid has a way with words and Natalie and Jonah's story is an emotional rollercoaster. Third person POV that switches perspective from Jonah to Natalie so you get both sides of the story that delves deep into Jonah's past and his reasoning for everything and into Natalie's past and why she feels like has has to take care of everyone else. As  they work together to help a little girl diagnosed with cancer get the treatment she needs they realize their friendship runs so much deeper than that.

"Come on, Jonah. You and I are just friends, and my living with you would only be temporary. I’m neat and fairly low-maintenance, and I really can cook like a boss. I know you like your space.” It was a euphemism, and if the smile poking at the corners of her lips was anything to go by, Natalie knew it as well as Jonah did. He was a freaking island, and it wasn’t by accident. “So I can totally stay out of your hair if you want me to. But please.” In a blink, her smile disappeared. “I’m begging you. Don’t make me stay with my parents.”
Jonah’s nice-guy propensity came out of hiding to pick a fight with his defenses, both of them quickening his pulse. His defenses didn’t fight fair, though, reminding him that he had damn good reasons for not being a long-haul guy.
He opened his mouth to say he was sorry. To tell Natalie, rationally and with good reason, why he just couldn’t let her move in with him for six weeks.
But what came out was, “Okay. You can stay.”
Christ, his inner nice-guy was a sneaky son of a bitch.
“Really?” Natalie let out a gasp that quickly slid into an adorable ear-to-ear grin, and okay, Jonah was going to have to do some damage control here.
“With a couple of stipulations,” he said, holding up his fingers to count them off. “If you want to watch rom coms or that channel that plays all those gooey holiday movies, you’ve got to do it on your iPad.”
Jonah knew from experience that she loved both, and with Christmas only a month away, she’d certainly want to mainline them whenever she had down time. But while happily ever after might be on some people’s agendas—and more power to them as long as they didn’t try to convert him to coupledom—he sure as hell wasn’t going to let it parade across his big screen TV.
“Come on! Not even It’s a Wonderful Life?” she asked, but he stood firm.
“The only Christmas movie that flies in my apartment is Diehard.”
Her hands moved to her hips. “That is so not a Christmas movie.”
“Take it or leave it, Kendrick. Yippie-ki-yay is all the holiday cheer you’re going to get out of me.”
Natalie frowned, but didn’t push her luck, so Jonah continued. “I’ll take that you cook, I clean bargain. I don’t mind doing all the dishes, and I wasn’t kidding when I said I can’t cook. No complaining about football or hockey—the Rogues are kicking ass again this year on the ice and I want to watch every game that I can. And for the love of all that it sacred and good, no bras on the shower curtain rod.”
            “Done.”
His surprise must have stumbled over his face, because she laughed and tacked on, “What? You know I love hockey, too, and after meeting Finn Donnelly over the summer at that fundraiser at The Crooked Angel? I’m all-in for the Rogues. I promised you I’d cook, and the other stuff”—she lifted one shoulder beneath her light pink sweater—“I can stipulate, even if it is kind of grinchy. So, do we have a deal? I can come live with you until this mess is all fixed?”
Jonah exhaled. “Yes, we have a deal.
