ARC REVIEW Wicked Kiss and Wicked Bite by Rebecca Zanetti

Wicked Kiss is the fourth book of Rebecca Zanetti's Realm Enforcers series, spin off of her Dark Protectors series and is all about the last Dunne Brother finally finding his HEA. I really didn't like Adam, he was way too high handed and just annoyed me most of the time. Granted he was trying to keep Tori safe, the way he did it just did not agree with me. Tori I loved, normally when the heroine does stupid things and goes off on her own despite the danger that is out to get her it just pisses me off in Tori's case I don't blame her for it. They fight the sexual chemistry so hard and it just made it so aggravatingly funny. Tori tries to bluff Adam on certain things, sexual preferences, and he just turns it around on her making her feel like he can teach her a thing or two. The story was fast paced and just wow, so much happens it's hard to believe it just over 280 pages. I would recommend reading the previous books just because both Tori and Adam are introduced early on and there is a bit of a story arc going on and some of the things will just make more sense.

Opposites attract when it comes to the straight-laced Enforcer Adam Dunne and rock-chick song writer Victoria Monzelle. Ever since Tori found out about witches and vampires because her sister fell in love with a witch she has been kidnapped twice, saved this last time by Adam Dunne who going against orders from his superiors rescues Tori. Unfortunately they end up getting caught anyways and standing in front of the Council of Nine Adam vows to mate Tori to save her from execution. Keeping Tori save is only one thing that Adam is trying to do, he's also trying to find out who is the traitor on the council, with his brothers wanted for being traitors and his cousin framed for being the one behind the deadly drug, Apollo, which can kill a witch, Adam and his family are working with Dage and the others to prove who is really behind it all. Tori understands the importance of what Adam is doing but she's also trying to save her sister from ruining her life and saving her career. Tori is being blackmailed by an obsessed DEA who says she has to find proof where the Apollo coming from or else she will arrest Lexie as a crooked cop.

The only saving point for Adam is that he doesn't want to force Tori into mating, and all his threats to spank Tori it really isn't a punishment to her she starts to provoke him just because she can and it turns her on. Adam and Tori spend most of the time trying to convince themselves that they wouldn't be good together, it takes something pretty big to change that.

Overall, it was a good read, I enjoy Rebecca Zanetti's writing style.

Wicked Bite is book five in the Realm Enforcers series. Mmmm Bear. I've been waiting for Bear's story. This one ties with Wicked Edge as my favorite in the series. Bear is... well a bear shifter and ever since the events of  Wicked Burn Bear has been sick. Bear also has dragon shifter in his DNA and when he shifted into a dragon it screwed with him on a molecular level and no matter how long he stays in his bear form he's not getting better. Nessa is unique for a witch unlike others she has no fire her power is healing, only through mating could Nessa ever hope to gain the ability to form her own fire. Nessa figures that with Bear's dragon shifter genes if she mates with him and the sharing of powers through the mating bond will give her the fire she's always wanted. She just has to convince Bear that she can heal him and in return they mate.

That's not the only reason Nessa wants to mate so quickly another witch who is a powerful healer wants her as his and Nessa will  not have it. Not even when he kidnaps the uncle who raised her after her parents died. Bear has no idea what he has gotten himself into. He knows Nessa has secrets but when he finds out what they are it's a can of worms that can not be contained.

After the events of Wicked Kiss the drug Apollo in Seattle dropped but in recent months the drug has made a reappearance and worse than before. Bear is determined to get to the bottom of it, he has no love for witches for the exception of his sister and now Nessa, but this drug has killed way too many humans and witches alike and Seattle is his home. In combination with the Enforcers, the Demon Nation, and the Realm everyone works together to stop the evil behind the drug.

What was just suppose to be a bond in name only as a benefit for both Bear and Nessa became a bond so strong not even a bullet to the head will stop them from being together. What I love is that they both understand what's going on and as overprotective as Bear is he knows Nessa is strong enough to take care of herself and Nessa understand Bear's need to be overprotective and when it counts she gives into his wishes to protect her.

Overall, I loved this I love this so hard. I loved how it brought so many of the previous characters in on this one from this series and the Dark Protectors series. It was a very exciting book with a nice twist at the end. mmmmm Bear.

ARC REVIEW Wicked Burn by Rebecca Zanetti

The Realm Enforcers is back and this time with Simone and Nick. FINALLY!!! If you haven't read the previous books in the series... why not they are action packed, romance driven and hot guys on motorcycles! Okay seriously this spin off of the Dark Protectors series is just as good as the original. Rebecca Zanetti has set the bar high and she just keeps raising it higher with each book. If you haven't you might want to read at least Wicked Edge, it leaves off where this one starts and it gives you a little added detail as to what is happening. In other words you might be a bit lost at the very beginning but it does fill in the blanks if you haven't read Wicked Edge. (So far Wicked Edge is my favorite so yeah read it.)

Simone is the head of the Coven of Nine and she has now been framed. Her enemies have been crafty enough to make it look like she was behind the plankite mines. Simone's family and friends have called one person they know can keep her safe. Nick Veis due to circumstances out of his control (i.e. fate) had to end his relationship with Simone a hundred years ago. But now that everything that said had to be done is done Nick is ready to claim Simone's heart again but first he has to save her from her own people. Simone never forgave Nick for what he did, and she doesn't want his help she is ready to face her charges; she can not deny that there is some physical attraction a lot of sexual attraction. Simone however is once burned twice shy. When several of the Coven of Nine council members fall victim to plankite including Simone's mother, the shite really hits the fan. Simone's Mom calls in reinforcements, the side of the family Simone never knew she had. Nick now that he has Simone and knows there is still something between them isn't going to let her go so easily and will follow her to the ends of the earth to protect her, even risking his own life.

Overall, this is one big Surprise! for Simone and Nick revealing secrets and pasts never before known. One of the many good things about this book you finally see more of Bear, unfortunately, for me the more Bear talked the more he sounded like a teenager rather then a century plus old bear shifter who has previously been strong, silent, and very intimidating. But everything else about this book I loved. It did conclude so not technically a cliffhanger but it did kind of end abruptly and I was taken off guard by it especially since it left soooooooo many unanswered questions.

ARC REVIEW Wicked Edge by Rebecca Zanetti

More Wicked Goodness from Rebecca Zanetti. This is the second book of the Dark Protectors spin off series, The Realm Enforcers. Wicked Edge is typical Zanetti, Alpha male meets his match in a strong willed and stubborn woman. I love the direction this book went and who the characters were. This book takes you across the world as Daire and Cee Cee try and track down the villains behind the mining of the deadly mineral that has the abilities to kill witches and temporarily give humans powers but can also kill them too; also tracking down the demon who killed Cee Cee's mate. This was a great read, fun, edge of your seat action that will blow you away.

Daire sees her across a crowded room, her come hither looks, dark eyes and white blond hair is calling to Daire; daring him to come get some. Daire answers the call he takes her home and is promptly drugged and knocked out. Cee Cee hated to do this to Daire, but it is all a means to the end she needed the intel that the Coven has on the mines letting her know who owns which mines so she doesn't accidentally blow up the wrong ones. Daire wakes up pissed beyond belief but he manages to track down Cee Cee in Norway just in time to save her bacon from a backstabbing demon. But not quite in time to stop her from imploding all the mines that are owned by one particular demon she has been strategically working to ruin. Daire is also there to protect her from the vicious polar bears and another demon attack. Finally when they are safe after having their helicopter shot down and having to spend the night on a tiny frozen island; Cee Cee finally reveals her intentions. Daire and the other want to help but Cee Cee still has everything planned out and doesn't need him in the way, even if it means knocking him out again and kind of destroying his penthouse apartment. Unfortunately for her witches can build up antibodies and by the time she tries for the third time to knock him out he has the antibodies and the knock out drug doesn't work anymore.

Daire is so good, I love him, he is the gruff one the tough one but when it comes to Cee Cee he's so sweet. He is determined to protect her even if she doesn't want it or think she needs it. It gets to the point I was yelling at the book, "Just give it up already!" When it comes to Cee Cee's family he handles them so well. This book is practically nonstop action, it's funny in the typical Zanetti fashion also. Overall. this book is another winner for Rebecca Zanetti.

ARC REVIEW Wicked Ride by Rebecca Zanetti

Wicked Ride is the start of Rebecca Zanetti's spin off series of The Dark Protectors, The Realm Enforcers. The witches of the Realm who are in charge of protecting the magic and keeping the witches in line. This isn't a MC romance it is so much more. It is Paranormal, Suspense, Action Packed, Plasma Ball Exploding Awesomeness. Much like Rebecca's other series the boys are Alpha, stubborn, sexy as sin and grade "A" hero material and her girls are strong, stubborn, easy to love but don't give their love easily. I loved this book, it was action packed and suspenseful with the right amount of naughty mayhem.

The dangerous mineral that was mined in Russia that has proven to be is harmful even deadly to witches has turned up as the hot new illegal drug on the streets of Seattle. Kellach Dunne his two brothers and one Council member, who is also a cousin are their trying to track down the person behind it. Vice-Cop Alexandra Monzelle is trying to track down the drug, Apollo, that if overdosed can literally burn up a person's insides. Trying to go undercover hasn't revealed much but one night when she thinks she finally has something everything goes wrong when a smokin' hot biker shows up and takes three guys out. Now Alexandra, or Lex to her friends, gets kinda of annoying at parts because she has trust issues she is always second guessing Kell, and if she would trust him when she said she did it wouldn't have... well then their wouldn't be much of a story. Instead of working together Kell and Lex butting heads the entire time, well except for when they are bumping uglies. The player behind Apollo is someone they never expected and was a satisfying turn of events. Kell is undercover with a human MC trying to find out their supplier and that is the main reason Lex doesn't trust him even when he explains everything she still has trust issues. It all routes back to her father and the reason she tries so hard to be a good cop.

Overall I have high hopes for this series, with it's predecessor Dark Protectors as good as it is I expect The Realm Enforcers to be even better and with this as to kick off the series I know it will be.
