Oh you Montgomerys! So this is the last book for this branch of the giant Montgomery family tree. Not only does this book wrap up these siblings but it introduces us to the next batch of siblings who are going to get their books and a hint as to how big the family is (They aren't kidding when they say they have like 45 cousins). So Wes and Jillian, there is nothing like falling for your twin brother's former friend with benefits, can you say awkward. Maybe just for Wes and Jillian, Storm and everyone else saw it coming.
Wes and Jillian can't help but argue with each other, verbal foreplay, they don't know how to handle their attraction to each other any other way before you know it they are making out. Now that Jillian is working for MI her proximity to Wes just increases her desire. The same can be said about Wes the more time her spends with her the more he realizes his first assumption about her was wrong. Falling in love was the easy part it's dealing with everything else is what causes problems from a family crisis to "random" back alley beatings.
Overall, Wes and Jillian are so great together, they have more in common that you would think but once they allow themselves to let the other in everything falls into place. I absolutely loved this read. And yes it is a very...

ARC REVIEW Fighting His Desire by Sidney Bristol
Fighting His Desire is book four of Sidney Bristol's So Inked series. Well it was bound to happen eventually, I found this one just okay. I liked the story, I liked the sex, I liked the way it ended, I just found the characters (mostly Jenny) kind of aggravating and how they reacted to the situation (again mostly Jenny) aggravating; and it's not in that perverse good way I like aggravating things no I really just wanted to reach into my Kindle and smack Jenny. Another thing, and it is completely my own fault for this one but I really felt like I only got half the story and I didn't get why certain characters reacted the way they did because I don't know their backstories, so my own fault for not reading the previous books.
Lucas fell in love with his cousin's wife, Jenny, his cousin, Walker, was a complete douchebag and made Jenny's life hell. Jenny and Lucas became fast friends, Lucas was there went Jenny needed someone to talk to and even though the emotion and the want was there they never acted on their feelings. One night Lucas tried to talk Jenny into seeing what a horrible person Walker was with all the drinking and drugs and cheating on her. Jenny angry and confused with her own emotions got mad and told Lucas to go away, and he did. Shortly after that Walker was arrested and sent to prison and Jenny filed for divorce. But Lucas has a secret and Jenny can never know.
Some time later Lucas comes back his friends at the So Inked tattoo parlour needed help and Lucas agrees, after all what are the chances he will see Jenny again in a city as big as Dallas. Jenny now makes a living grooming dog in a cute little store right next door to So Inked. Lucas and Jenny are reunited with the help of a cute little dog, they finally admit their feelings and the sex is better than they ever imagined. But it's not all sunshine and lollipops, Lucas is still scared Jenny will find out his secret and Jenny is so scared she will lose herself in to the relationship like she did before. Scared of what she was feeling Jenny back away from Lucas. Lucas who has been all in in this relationship he's been nothing but fantastic but Jenny is sending mixed signals and now she's pulling away and Lucas is thinking the worst. But the worst comes in the form of a face from the past and it causes everything to blow up.
Overall, aside from Jenny just rubbing me the wrong way and feeling like I was missing something throughout the whole book, it was nice. The dogs were freaking cute and it was nice with Everly and her new hubby and no one writes sex like Sidney.

ARC REVIEW Hope Restored by Carrie Ann Ryan
Hope Restored is the final book in the Gallagher Brothers series, a spinoff of the massive Montgomery Ink series universe. This isn't the first time Carrie Ann Ryan has written about a cancer survivor, it's a very emotional topic and this book a real tear jerker. The friends to lovers romance that happens between Tessa and Murphy was exceptional.
Murphy has already beat cancer twice, once as a child and again later as a teenager. Murphy was enjoying his life and enjoying his carefree flirting with his brother's neighbor, Tessa. But one family gathering and his life feels like it spinning out of control again, he has cancer again. To make matter worse the people he's renting his place from are coming back and he needs to move out. Murphy needing someone to talk to ends up at Tessa's house and turns out it's a good thing Tessa has an extra room and he needs someone to watch out for him when he's going through his treatments and Tessa is the perfect choice. She's a friend, she's next door to his brother so he's close enough to family but not close enough that they can be overbearing.
Tessa never thought she deserved anything she got, she was abandoned as a child and her foster parents who later adopted her loved her beyond anything. Tessa growing up put them through hell trying to push them away, but they never let her. Grown up Tessa has distanced herself from them feeling guilty but talking with and falling in love with Murphy through his ordeal and experiencing the love and comradery of the Gallagher family she realizes what she's doing and start to make it up to her parents. Murphy and Tessa had a carefree flirtation going on but as soon as they are in close proximity to each other for a couple of days the sexual attraction becomes more than they can stand and give into it. But Murphy's cancer isn't the only thing that's getting in the way of their happily ever after, someone from Tessa's past has shown up and threatening their HEA.
Overall, this was an emotional but happy ending to this series and I can't wait for more from the Montgomery Ink Universe.

A high school reunion is about to get down and dirty and a whole lot more complicated in this new erotic romance from NYT Bestselling Author Carrie Ann Ryan.
Grayson Cleary left town before graduation day and never looked back. Most people back home pegged him as a dropout. Over time, he’s worked to make something of his life and leave his past behind, so when his ten-year reunion comes up, he has no intention of attending. Then, life threw a wrench in her plans, and she had to find a way to live the new life fate handed her. The last thing she needs is the hot boy from high school returning to town as the sexy man of her dreams.
When the two take a chance and use the reunion week to burn up the sheets, they’ll have to remember that it’s only for a few nights—not for a lifetime. And decide if what they have is just a fling…or something far more than a mere reunion.

ARC REVIEW Alpha Prince by Sidney Bristol
Alpha Prince is the first book in Sidney Bristol's newest series Twisted Royals that came out in February. This is a brilliant twist on Snow White, which I am grateful for I don't see very many of those. I love Ian Kelly every time he spoke I hear a Liam Neeson like voice speaking in my head. Ian is everything Taylor needed but in no way ever expected to find, his Irish, in law enforcement, and every bit the Prince the media painted him; but Taylor doesn't want to be the damsel in distress. Taylor learned the hard way she only had herself to rely on.
Ian couldn't stop thinking about the one who got away, it really was just supposed to be a one night stand but after she just left and it bugged him that she left and he hadn't been able to find her. After all the hype with the media and the dancing princes hubbub Ian was supposed to be laying low, it was just going to be a simple security consult however the suspicious character that hired him as received extortion threats and he wants Ian to stay on for two weeks to figure it out. Ian should say no, Zain will kill him if he doesn't, but.... Taylor is there. Taylor is the one who spirited out after an intense and passionate night together. Ian knows she's hiding something and he wants to help he took the job on pretense to help Taylor. Taylor is on the run from her stepmother, and the mob family she did everything in her power to avoid. Taylor's stepmother is very ambitious and perceives that Taylor is in her way and wants her dead. Taylor wants to go on the run again handle this herself, Ian wants it over he wants to help and after two attempts on her life she is finally ready to accept his help, very reluctantly.
Overall, the Snow White aspects just added to the charm of the book. Seven miniature french bulldog puppies, the evil stepmother, the huntsman, and the apple just perfect. It is an action packed, exciting, and as always super erotic. So hot!

Storm's story took me by surprise, I didn't know what to expect it seems like everyone in the family has a secret to hide and we finally discover what's up with Storm. Everly is a strong and passionate woman, one all mother everywhere can relate to especially when you have a disabled or frequently ill child. Carrie Ann always hit the emotional spot. Everly's story really hit strong with me I can so empathize with her and dealing with endless doctors appointments. I don't think I have ever had a character hit so close to home for me.
Everly was left alone to raise her twin boys after her husband, Jackson, died. Storm was her husband's best friend and her too, but after the death things became awkward between them, he was always there for her and the boys but they weren't close like they use to be. Storm has kept his secret for long he knows it won't be long before it has to come out. When someone connected to Storm's secret exposes something about Jackson and his life Storm knows it's time for the truth to come out and then he will deal with the fallout afterwards. Jackson's secret will hurt Everly but Storm has no choice but to tell her. It only gets worse when bad things start happening to Everly. With everything that has happened Storm finally figures out where he stands with Everly and Everly finally figures out what it's like to be adopted into the Montgomery family.
Overall, Everly was my favorite part of this story. I loved Storm and the whole story the plot and characters but Every is my favorite.

BLOG TOUR Ink Enduring by Carrie Ann Ryan
The Montgomery Ink series continues with a forbidden love between three friends and a past that they can’t escape.
Jake Gallagher knew from the moment he saw Maya that she was the one for him—it had the same breath-taking intensity as when he’d first set eyes on Border. Only life never turns out the way one plans, and now he’s falling for someone else...or at least he thinks he is.
Maya Montgomery never should have looked past the friendship she already had. Now that she has, she can’t stop thinking about Jake and what he means to her. When a mysterious stranger from Jake’s past shows up at their door, she’s forced to admit that if she doesn’t take the risk of a lifetime, she’ll regret it for the rest of her days.
Border Gentry walked away without a second glance once because of what could happen if he let go, but now he’s back and ready to see what he’s missed. He’s been on the road a long time and has seen things no man should ever see, yet once he rediscovers the broody Jake and meets the inked and fierce Maya, they’re like a balm to his soul and he realizes what path his future should take.
It will take more than sizzling chemistry and a heat that never dies for the three of them to overcome their pasts. And when someone from the outside wants to stand in their way, it’s not only their hearts on the line…but also their lives.

Jake's theme song pretty much from the start of the series has been George Micheal's I'm Never Gonna Dance Again, well in my head at least. Then suddenly in the last book it switched to Maya. LOL! To my surprise when Jake first saw Maya she was dancing and I giggled at that. On to the book, if I was forced to use just one word to describe this book it would be HOT! Thankfully I can use more than one word because this book is so much more than just HOT. It was an emotional journey for three people finding true love coming to terms that it is possible to love more than one person at a time and getting their HEA finally. FOUR BOOKS! four book we have had to wait until Maya and Jake finally got their shit together, and then Carrie Ann Ryan throws in a curve ball in the form of Border. I normally don't read menage but I love Carrie Ann's. I just love the way she writes them. This book was everything I expected it to be and hotter. As strong as Maya is she shows a new side of herself a bit of vulnerability (whose theme is Heart's Alone). Border is the wild card and Carrie Ann played him well (Whitesnake's Is this Love). Jake, well, I think I love him a bit more after this book.
Overall, I loved the book. Carrie Ann Ryan went dirty.
About Carrie Ann Ryan
New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author Carrie Ann Ryan never thought she’d be a writer. Not really. No, she loved math and science and even went on to graduate school in chemistry. Yes, she read as a kid and devoured teen fiction and Harry Potter, but it wasn’t until someone handed her a romance book in her late teens that she realized that there was something out there just for her. When another author suggested she use the voices in her head for good and not evil, The Redwood Pack and all her other stories were born.
Carrie Ann is a bestselling author of over twenty novels and novellas and has so much more on her mind (and on her spreadsheets *grins*) that she isn’t planning on giving up her dream anytime soon.

ARC REVIEW Written in Ink by Carrie Ann Ryan
Yea! more tattooed yummy hotness from Carrie Ann Ryan. Written in Ink is centered around Griffin Montgomery and Autumn Manor. Autumn appeared first in Harder Than Words when she played a role in saving both Luc and Meghan. Since then the Montgomery's have pulled her into their family. Griffin is the odd ball in the family nor the artist or handy with tools but crafts words into a story that has made him a famous author. I love this series it's a blend of romance, erotica, and suspense; and Carrie Ann Ryan does it so well. (you do that thing that you do that you do so well) Griffin is a scruffy, stubborn, sexy, intelligent man candy. I love Griffin it's a tie right now between who I love more Luc or Griffin.
Autumn is constantly moving, never staying in one place long afraid her past will catch up with her; But when she accepted the job a keeper for Griffin Montgomery it became so much more than just cleaning his house and making sure he eats. Griffin didn't think he needed a keeper and was bound to scare her off, but just after the first day he saw how much she had already done he started to rethink it. It was an instant attraction between the two and the silly nickname Griffin gives Autumn, Fall, turns from a joke to a term of endearment. Autumn doesn't want to get to attached but when her fantasies about Griffin become reality the harder it becomes when she decides to leave. Her plan to keep all the Montgomery's in the dark about her past goes awry when her past finds her before she can leave and instead of leaving like she had planned she ends up at Griffin's house in shock. Griffin didn't realize how close he came to losing his Fall until he finds her in her car white knuckling the steering wheel and tears rolling down her face. Autumn finally confides in him her past and he is determined to protect her but his feelings for her scare him more than anything.
Overall, this is another winner from Carrie Ann Ryan. Griffin and Autumn are a perfect match and watching them discover it in this book is wonderful, exciting, erotic and all around very entertaining.
