This is a first for me from HelenKay Dimon and it definitely won't be the last. Book four in the series The Games People Play and it can be read as a stand alone but now I really want to go back and read the previous books just because their characters are really intriguing anyways, Damon and Cate. Cate lost her sister ten years ago and it was ruled a suicide but that never rang true for Cate she always believed her sister was murdered. Cate has been trying to get information from the "school" about her sister's death but they continue to ignore her request and insist it was suicide. But recently she's noticed that someone has been in her apartment, nothing was taken but it was enough to unnerve her and seek help from a professional. Damon has spent almost half his life trying to forget his time at Salvation and now he's the only one who can get Cate her answers and that means going back. Their presence there, however, stirs up a hornets nest and now both Cate and Damon are risking their lives trying to get all the answers.

Cate and Damon have an instinct spark of attraction that leads to them bickering like an old married couple and helps build on the sexual chemistry so when they finally give in, it's hot and heavy. The entire story was quite intense something was always happening the pace of the book helped build the tension. I loved the narrative description she pulled me and didn't let go until the last page. Overall, definitely a good book, an excellent romantic suspense.
