Crying Wolf
Grace Shaw is on the run from her crazy ex-boyfriend who refuses to believe their relationship is over. He's a cop and is willing to use police resources to track her down. So Grace comes up with a plan and tricks his fellow brothers in blue into thinking he is crying wolf a couple of times when he's reported her missing. Little does she know she'll go running into the arms of a real wolf when she finally makes her escape for real.

She just wants to be left alone, but then she meets Hunter Tate - the alpha of the Black River Pack. Grace tries to hold Hunter at arm's length, but there's just no reasoning with an alpha male werewolf who insists she's his mate.

Shoot for the Moon
Eliza Reve knows that her ability to dream of future events sets her apart from others. Her gift became a curse when she wasn't able to save her mother or the alpha's son and she found herself exiled - a lone wolf. When she joins the Black River Pack, Eliza vows never to reveal her talent to anyone. Not even the man who has walked in her dreams for years.

Spencer Tate is her mate, but her visions have told her that he will renounce her. When he doesn't recognize her as his mate, she agrees to the no-strings-attached affair he offers because she thinks it's the most she can hope for. Although her heart breaks as she falls deeper in love with him, she wants to spend as many days with Spencer as possible before he kicks her out of his life.

When Spencer finally comes to his senses, he has his work cut out for him to convince Eliza that he wants her forever. When another she-wolf insists she's his mate instead, things get even more complicated. But Spencer isn't the alpha's second and enforcer because he isn't willing to fight for what's his, and he refuses to settle for anything less than Eliza as his marked and claimed mate.

Thrown to the Wolves
Annora Channing's entire world changes the moment she discovers she's a bear shifter. With mated wolves for parents, she should have been a wolf also. When the man she grew up thinking was her father realizes she isn't his daughter, he devises a plan to use her existence to his advantage in a way that will get her out from under his roof.

When her situation goes from bad to worse, Annora escapes but is badly injured in the process. Luckily, Elias Reve comes to her rescue while on his way to Wolf's Point and the daughter he lost years ago. With nowhere else to go and nobody to turn to, Annora joins him on his journey and ends up running smack-dab into the arms of her mate.

Parker Tate knows Annora is his the moment he lays eyes on her. When he manages to mate and mark her within hours of when they meet, he considers himself lucky. Then the trouble nipping at Annora's heels finds her and Parker realizes the path to claiming his mate won't be as easy as he thought - especially not with the bears involved.

Four Nights with the Duke by Eloisa James

I read this as an ARC but loved it and Pre-Ordered it when I finished it.

The Desperate Duchesses book eight, Four Nights with the Duke by Eloisa James. I love Eloisa James; she is an eloquent and beautiful writer who tells an intelligent and witty story all the while steaming up your glasses. It was a fun read without anything overly dramatic and devastating happening to the H/h.

Mia is a great curvy heroine, she is a published author with a devoted following the only problem is that she must marry in order to keep her nephew, Charles, out of the wicked clutches of Charles’ uncle from his Mother’s side of the family. She had a fiancĂ© but he jilted her and now she chooses to do something drastic. Vander has always said he would marry for love because of his childhood experience with his parents; that is until Mia appears back in his life. Mia’s father and Vander’s mother had an illicit affair in plain view of everyone. Vander hated his mother and Mia’s father for it. Mia accepted it because she knew they were in love. Mia in her youth was in love with Vander but one poorly written poem that fell in to the hands of Vander and Mia was embarrassed and vowed never to love Vander again; that all changes when Mia blackmails him into marriage.

Mia wrote it all out what she expects of Vander and why she is doing what she is, but Vander still assuming she is in love with him and is blackmailing him because that’s the only way she can get him to marry him writes out stipulations of his own, without reading hers, only giving her four nights a year in his bed. Vander is shocked to find out that she only wanted to be married to him for six months and then get it annulled. Vander disagrees simply stating marriage is forever, he quickly takes his new charge and treats the boy with the clubbed foot like a normal little boy. Vander also takes the news that Mia is a famous author like it’s no big deal. He also deals with the wicked Uncle who just wanted Charlie for his inheritance. Vander also decides that he will make Mia fall in love with him even though Mia is determined not to.

I loved this book, Vander and Mia are great characters and I love the added in notations from Mia on her WIP it almost coincides perfectly with her and Vander’s story. It can be read as a standalone but is a much better experience if you have read the whole series, or at least the last book Three Weeks with Lady X.

EARLY ARC REVIEW Every Move She Makes by Jannine Gallant

I love a romantic suspense book where the heroine is being stalked by a psychopath.

I loved Rachel she is a single mom struggling with three kids one a rebellious teenager who is on the road to being a troublemaker. To get her daughter away from bad influences and to spend some family time together she plans a camping trip. She recently met a handsome man, a San Francisco police officer on vacation who mentioned his brothers business, a campground up in the mountains. Kane Lafferty is on the verge of being burned out he decides to take some time to himself to sort out if he wants to continue being a police officer. Spending the time at his brother campground helping out is the thing he needs, and when the gorgeous woman he met in San Francisco shows up with her girls in tow she is a pleasant distraction. It's an instant attraction that they are willing to find out where it could lead.

After Rachel and her girls leave Rachel is attacked and it turns out this person has been stalking her for a long time. He keeps referring to her by the name of a character she played when she was a soap actress years ago. Scared for Rachel, Kane rushes to her to protect her. Working with her small town Sheriff Kane helps try and track down the stalker all the while winning over Rachel's daughters.

This book had everything I ask for in a romantic suspense; great romance, great suspense and just the right amount of action to keep me turning the page until the end. I really enjoyed this book and I look forward to the next book in the series.

ARC REVIEW Flirting with Fire by Kate Meader

FLIRTING WITH FIRE A HOT IN CHICAGO NOVEL KATE MEADER

“Sexy and sassy…I loved this book!” #1 New York Times bestselling author Jude Deveraux

I think I just found a new must buy series. Flirting with Fire is book one in Kate Meader's series Hot in Chicago. She released a novella, Rekindle the Flame, in the anthology in Baby it's Cold Outside a prequel to the series and I loved that story. When I first finished the book I marked on Goodreads four stars, but after a few days the story has set with me and I am still thinking about it and with that I think I need to give it the extra star because it's really stuck with me. It's going to be one of those books that I will still be think about it months from now. On a personal note I have a soft spot for Fireman Romance, I grew up the daughter of a fireman and they always resonate with me. Luke is a hot headed but he his fiercely loyal to his family and his fire house; once scorned by his now ex-wife he is now jaded about love. Kinsey is career driven and it has already cost her one relationship one month before the wedding she gets dumped after moving halfway across the U.S. for him.

Blurb:

A man this smoking should set off alarms…
PR guru Kinsey Taylor is done with men—especially ones who refuse to respect her talents just because she’s a woman. Given the assignment of rehabilitating the reputation of Chicago’s Engine Company 6, she isn’t going to let anybody tell her how to do her job, including firefighting Luke Almeida. Even if he does make her hormones rage like a blazing building.
Before it’s too late to douse the flames…

Luke figures he knows how to run his firehouse just fine, and that doesn’t include having to prance around half-naked for the Men on Fire calendar scheme cooked up by some ice princess publicist in a tight skirt and man-killer heels. But if he’s going to be driven mad by this media circus, he’s determined to have his revenge by making Kinsey crazy, too—for him.
And when fire meets ice, one thing is certain…there’s going to be plenty of steam.

I love the chemistry and the comradery in the book and the sneak peek into future books about the other siblings. Luke is hot, my favorite kinda man, not afraid to back down and loyal almost to a fault. Kinsey is doubtful of her own ability to keep an man, thinking all men say they want a strong woman until they live with one for a while then change their minds and want a soft biddable woman, much of what her former fiance did to her. Luke soon realizes where his life is going and what he needs to do to get back on a path that is best for him, now he just has to convince Kinsey that she is pivotal to his happiness. The next book is Playing with Fire and I can't wait!!

“You didn’t ask for her number.” She scowls and pokes her finger into my chest. I look down at it, then glance up at her with a raised brow.
 “You just assaulted an officer.”
 “I did?” She swallows hard.
“Yes. I might have to arrest you.”
“With handcuffs?” She smiles gleefully, clearly excited at the thought.
“Would you like me to arrest you with handcuffs?”
 “Hell to the yes!”
“Kate?” There’s suddenly a very tall, very irritated man standing behind the fiery redhead, staring daggers into me. I can’t help but laugh.
“I’m talking to the hot Asher,” she says, not turning to look at him. “I assaulted him, and he’s a cop, and he’s going to put me in handcuffs.”
“No, I don’t believe he will.”
I laugh again. “There’s nothing going on here, man.”
“Come see Lila!” Kate takes my hand, pulling me from my stool to the table behind us. Most of the women have cleared out, leaving just a few, including the sexy as fuck woman I met on the plane yesterday. “Where did everyone go?”
“Declan took them home,” Lila replies, and her hand stops midway between the table and her lips, holding her drink. Her violet eyes widen when she sees me. “Hi.”
“We meet again.” I sit next to her, my fingers itching to plunge in her dark hair and brush it over her shoulder. “How are you, Lila?”
“Fine.” She clears her throat and smiles at me. “I didn’t think I’d ever see you again.”
“A happy coincidence,” I reply softly. “You look beautiful.”
And she does. Her eyes are a bit glassy from the alcohol, her cheeks just a little flushed. Her hair is straight and falls down her back and over her slim shoulders. Before I can ask her questions about her trip here, or anything about her, we are soon pulled into the conversation with the others at the table. But when Kate asks Lila if she’s ready to go, I’m shocked when Lila responds with, “I’m gonna have Asher take me home.”

A Message from Kristen Proby:

Dear readers, As you know, the With Me In Seattle series came to a close earlier this month with the eighth and final installment, FOREVER WITH ME. I've been steadfast in my decision that there would be no further stories from the series, no spin-offs, nothing more. In my mind, it was complete. And I still feel that the Montgomery/Williams families are complete, and I maintain that I'm happy with their happy-ever-afters. But, I've also heard you when you've said that Asher, Matt Montgomery's partner in TIED WITH ME, deserves to have a happily ever after for himself and his daughter Casey. So, when the lovely ladies from 1001 Dark Nights asked me to participate in their wonderful project, I thought long and hard about whose story it should be about. Seattle is finished, and I've moved on to New Orleans for the new Boudreaux Series... And then it occurred to me: why not do both, and offer a companion novella to each of the series? And so, because you, the reader, has been so insistent that you want to see Asher and Casey find their perfect person, I'm excited to introduce you to EASY WITH YOU. I think you're going to love Asher and Lila's love story this spring... Happy Reading, Kristen Proby

ARC REVIEW Monster Chef by Margaret McHayzer

I received an ARC as part of the Release Day Blitz yesterday. I loved this book it was the perfect blend of romance, emotional turmoil, and hot hot hot scenes. Monster Chef is a Second Chance at Love Romance; not for two long lost loves but for two people who had love and lost only to find it again with each other. I loved the book it splits the POV between the two main characters it was like listening Toni Collette and Gerard Depardieu in my head. Not looks wise; I was imagining two completely different people, it was described so well no celebrity imagining was needed. The dirty talking and erotic parts are very enticing. The story was emotional, but not so devastating I was in tears the whole time, I spend an equal amount of time laughing and wishing I could.. oh wait TMI.

Holly and Pierre have something in common they have both lost the loves of their lives. Pierre lost his wife to cancer; she was the woman he left France for and moved to Australia. He spent twenty years building his career up and after his wife died it was all he has. Holly lost her husband to a freak car accident and now she is left to raise her daughter all by herself. With her Mother-in-laws help watch her precocious daughter, Emma, she wants to find a job to give herself something to do. She applied for a waitress but was given the job of maitre'd because her past history and her ability to stand up to the ill tempered head chef. To Holly, Pierre is arrogant and to Pierre, Holly is insufferable. But when a customer gets out of hand and Holly lands in the hospital Pierre suddenly realizes she means more to him then he thought. Even her daughter Emma wins a place in his heart and immediately sets out to win them both over. Both Pierre and Holly have their issues to work through and their story about coming together is very touching, and Pierre's dirty talking is wow.

SPOTLIGHT TOUR and awesome GIVEAWAY! Feeding the Fire by Andrea Laurence

Title: Feeding the FireAuthor: Andrea LaurenceRelease Date: March 16, 2015Genre: Contemporary Romance

Summary

Pepper has no interest in Grant Chamberlain…until she accidentally wins him at a school auction and finds the mega-hot firefighter impossible to ignore. Find out what happens next in the second playful and sexy ebook romance in the Rosewood series!

Living in the small town of Rosewood, Alabama, hairdresser Pepper Anthony has one rule—never date a Chamberlain. She’s always said, “the only thing worse than being ignored by a Chamberlain is being dumped by one.” But Grant Chamberlain, town fireman, isn’t used to rejection, and Pepper has consistently turned him down since high school. She isn’t intimidated by his family; she’s one of the few who refuses to take their crap.

When Grant volunteers at the charity bachelor auction, to his surprise, Pepper buys him. She hadn’t meant to, but Adelia Chamberlain dropped a cold drink in her lap, sending her leaping into the air at precisely the wrong moment. Suddenly she had a massive bill to the town and Grant at her disposal. Since the money has to come from her “restore the house” fund, she decides to use Grant for manual labor instead of romantic dinners. Grant is happy to help, sweaty and shirtless, because one way or another, he’s going to get Pepper to admit she’s attracted to him. All it takes is a small spark, and soon they’ll be fanning the flames.

Grant stepped out from behind the curtain to a roar of applause. The minute the lights hit him, Pepper felt her heart skip a beat in her chest like she’d been hit with paddles of a defibrillator. He was wearing a black, slim-fit suit with a black shirt and tie. Even though he was indoors and it was nighttime, he was wearing his trademark Ray-Ban sunglasses. The glasses always seemed to accent the square line of his jaw and the sharp angle of his nose. His full lips curled into his charming smile, with the slightest hint of a dimple visible on his cheek. It reminded her of him looking at her, just like that, from between her trembling thighs. Damn him for being so sexy. His confidence made him that much more attractive. And frustrating. And irritating. Her fingers itched to reach for her paddle, but she resisted. She wasn’t going to pay for his time, even when he smiled at her that way. “The lucky lady with the winning bid will go with Grant to a romantic dinner at Brio’s in Birmingham and if she likes, he’ll take her on an exhilarating ride down a windy country road on the back of his motorcycle.” Pepper could almost see all the wild fantasies rushing through the heads of every woman in the room. It was a nice thought—hair blowing in the wind, thighs clamped around Grant’s narrow hips, arms wrapped around his waist. Even she could imagine the hard feel of his abs beneath the thin cotton of his T-shirt and the vibration of the engine against her most sensitive parts. There was a rumble of approval as they readied their paddles and sized up their competition. Good luck to them, Pepper thought. Like a beach ball bouncing around the room, the bids flew fast and furious. Before long, they’d topped three thousand. Suddenly Pepper felt awkward. Even though she and Grant weren’t dating, she didn’t exactly want to sit around and watch other women battle for him. Looking around the room, she spied Adelia Chamberlain coming back to her table with a glass of ice water. Maybe another drink would help. Or perhaps it was the right time for a restroom break. She could beat all the other women that would rush the ladies’ room when the auction ended. Pepper slipped her purse onto her shoulder and picked up her paddle so she could dump it in the bathroom trash can. “I’m going to get some air,” she whispered to Ivy, then started to get up. The ambush was sudden and unexpected. When they first came in Pepper had noticed the cable that the A/V people had taped to the floor, but the room was much darker now. Adelia didn’t see it and caught the toe of her shoe on it. She didn’t fall, thank goodness, but she did stumble, slinging her full glass of ice water into Pepper’s lap. With a cry of surprise and alarm, Pepper leapt out of her chair, holding her arms high to avoid the water that practically covered her from neck to knees. “Four thousand!” Allison Price announced from the stage. The MC’s words were an even larger shock to Pepper than the water. She turned her head toward Grant and the action onstage. He was looking straight at her with a wide smile of confidence across his face. He winked at her, and Pepper felt her stomach sink into her boot. Allison was pointing in Pepper’s direction, trying to coax a higher bid out of the audience. Yes, please, she screamed in her head. Make it forty-five hundred. Hell, make it four thousand and one penny. Just outbid her. She was answered with deafening silence. The only one in the room making a sound was Allison up on stage. It seemed that suddenly, all the battling women seemed to give up. Even Grant wasn’t worth that much, it seemed, and she agreed. “No!” Pepper shouted, but there was no stopping it. “Going once . . . going twice . . .” “I didn’t mean to—” “Sold! To the lady in the blue sweaterdress, paddle twenty-two!” Pepper looked down at her dark blue sweater, suddenly made even darker by the spreading water mark. Her damned paddle, the one she never wanted to begin with, was still in her hand. She watched as it slipped from her fingers, clattering to the ground in slow motion as the gravity of the situation caught up with her. Four thousand dollars. She’d just bid four thousand dollars. Because of well-aimed ice water. “Oh, Pepper,” Miss Adelia fussed, dabbing her with an inadequate cocktail napkin and shaking off the well-meaning hands of the folks that were more concerned about the older woman nearly falling. “I am so sorry. I didn’t even see that silly cord,” she said. “Is your dress okay?” She couldn’t respond. All Pepper could do was close her eyes and try to keep the tears of frustration and aggravation from rushing down her cheeks. She had just paid four thousand dollars for a date with Grant Chamberlain.

ARC REVIEW Haunting Suspicions by Kate Richards

Haunting Suspicions is another book from Fated Desire's Paranormal by Mistake line it is also book one in the new series Goldland by Kate Richards. I enjoyed the book it went where I wasn't expecting but... it ended too quickly for me. It was a rather abrupt ending and I wish there was more to it. I liked it enough that I would more than likely read the others in the series; the characters were well thought out and really likable.

Alden is the host for a paranormal debunker reality T.V. Show, Not On My Watch. His next job is the sudden appearance of the Indigo Princess ghost that haunts the tiny town of Goldland. Alden started his search but instead of finding a ghost he found Orlena. Orlena a cat shifter and the towns teacher, knows the secret behind the Indigo Princess, hesitant at first to start the hoax but the life of the town and the pack depends on it. Orlena's ancestors were the inspiration behind the ghost, and it has kept the town thriving. Alden and Orlena fall into insta-lust and all common sense went out the window. Orlena should have known better than to have unprotected sex on the full moon, now she needs to keep a close eye on Alden. She doesn't realize who Alden is until the next day when the rest of the crew shows up. Orlena is confused and stuck between a rock and a hard place knowing who Alden is and what he does and the fact that she may have just turned him into a cat shifter.
